New PlayStation 3 firmware hacked in less than 24 hours after release

Hackers have done it again. The new PlayStation 3 firmware 3.56 was hacked within 24 hours of its final release.

The guys at KaKaRoToKS, famous for developing custom PS3 firmwares, circumvented the latest firmware(version 3.56) in less than 24 hours of its initial release by Sony.

Sony is attempting to remove any custom version of the new firmware by issuing DMCA takedown notices from GitHub. However if you want to try, you can still get custom firmwares at Gitorious, maintained by KaKaRoToKS.
